Home of Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, vast savannas and untamed wildlife. Tanzania’s cities also have their charming African appeal. None more than the capital, Dar es Salaam, which offers a lively atmosphere with bustling markets selling anything from crafts to street food. And just a few miles offshore is the island of Zanzibar, a small sandy paradise that has inspired poets and artists alike with its sheer natural beauty.
