DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro – Tarangire National Park
Meet and Greet on arrival
Setting off from the airport, we’ll go straight in for a game drive in Tarangire National Park. As we journey across the Great Rift Valley and along the fringe of the Maasai Steppe, we’ll come by dotted huts with thatched roofs, herds of cattle being attended to by young boys and the local fauna and flora. Upon arriving at the lodge in the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to soak in the surroundings and enjoy the resort’s facilities. Following lunch, we’ll head on an afternoon game drive, returning to lodge for dinner, as the sun sets.

DAY 2: Ngorongoro
Breakfast at the lodge.
After checking out from the lodge, we’ll head north-west across the highlands, wheat plains and coffee plantations, to then embark on a game drive, before arriving at the lodge in Norongoro in time for lunch. Free afternoon, to enjoy the many activities available at the lodge, followed by dinner in the evening.

Afterwards, we’ll set off with a picnic lunch to explore the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro. Due to its size and diversity, the Ngorongoro Crater is comprised of several distinct habitats, ranging from swamps, lakes and springs, to forests, open grasslands and sandy dunes. These will serve as a beautiful backdrop for when we stop for a picnic. After a truly unique experience, we’ll return to the lodge late in the afternoon.

DAY 4: Ngorongoro - Kilimanjaro Departure
Breakfast at the lodge.
After checking out from the lodge, we’ll set on a drive past Lake Manyara and the quaint village of Mto wa Mbu. The scenic trip, again through the highlands, wheat plains and coffee plantations, will turn into a thrilling journey down the stunning escarpment, as we head towards Arusha
Lunch in Arusha.
Proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
